Amstar awarded JFA the contract to provide a conceptual interior design for the public spaces of a new high-rise residential building in Kiev aptly named “Skyline”. The scope included the reception/lobby, clubroom and other residential common areas. Skyline is a uniquely “western” looking building in the heart of Kiev. It has been designed and positioned in the market to offer a high-end residential lifestyle, with an international luxury standard, to buyers who familiar with this type of product. The client’s main goal for the interior design was to translate the building’s unique exterior architectural expression into a brand identity. The interior design should underscore that idea. As a result JFA conducted an analysis of the architectural elements and created an appropriate vocabulary of materials and architectural motifs that reinforced the brand. Starting with a dramatic canopy which clearly identifies the entry, the linear motifs of the exterior are echoed and translated into the lobby and other public spaces. skyline-kyiv.com
