JFA was hired to redesign a 1,200 sf two bedroom apartment in a prominent pre-war building on Upper Fifth Ave. The apartment needed major upgrades to the kitchen and bathrooms as well a reconfiguration of the floor plan to accommodate for the client’s growing family. Additionally, the client, a professional couple, had very specific ideas concerning eth interior design and were every “hands on” during the whole design process. JFA filed plans with the building department and worked closely with building management and contractors to insure a smooth construction phase.
